Mrs. Wendelin Oster

Rev. A. Beutenmueller preached the sermon for the funeral of Mrs. Wendelin Oster held from the St. John’s Evangelical church Friday afternoon at 2:30. Mrs. Oster died Wednesday, March 3, at the age of sixty-seven years, eight months and seven days.

Henrietta Mutschall was born in Crimea, Southern Russia on July 27. On November 20, 1890 she was married to Wendelln Oster. One daughter, Mrs. Ferd Baer, was born in Russia. They came to the United States in 1893 and settled at Bismark, North Dakota, and in 1894 they moved to Payette where they have since made their home. The deceased is survived by four sons, John Oster of Payette, Jacob Oster of New Plymouth, Wendelin Oster Jr., of Payette and William Aberle, an adopted son, Mrs. Oster’s nephew; four daughters, Mrs. Adelalde Fisher of New Plymouth, Mrs. Louise Conrad of Bliss, Mrs. Henrietta Specht of Longview, Washington. She is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren, three great great grandchildren (sic?) and a brother, William Mutschall, in Russia.

The Landon funeral home had charge of the funeral.
