Eliza Engeline Patterson was born in Adkin county, North Carolina, Feb. 17th, 1861. In October 1881 she moved with her sisters to Boise, Idaho. There, about three years later, she was united in marriage to Jessie Mitchel. To this union were born three sons, Jessie, Wessley and Algie. In the spring of 1905, Mrs. Mitchel moved to Payette, Idaho, where she lived until the day of her death. Died Friday noon, Dec. 3rd, 1915. She leaves to mourn her loss a husband, three sons, three sisters and many friends. Her funeral was held in the Baptist church, Saturday, 2 p.m. The body was interred in River Side cemetery.
