PAYETTE - Services for Bryce O. Peterson, 81, Payette, who died Friday at home were conducted Tuesday at the Payette Assembly of God church by Pastor Arlin Benson. Interment followed in Riverside Cemetery, Payette, under the direction of the Schaffer-Jensen Chapel, Payette.
He was born Oct. 19, 1898 in Rice County, Kan., to Emma Dell and George Peterson. His mother died in 1901, and he moved with his father and stepmother to Conrad, Mont., where he was educated. He moved to Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, in 1910. He married Edith Cofield in 1922 and they moved to the Peace River District in Canada, where they farmed. They moved to Payette in 1946. He was a member of the Payette Assembly of God Church.
Surviving are his wife of Payette; a step brother, Frank Allen of Jamestown, Kan.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister.
