George R. Peterson Succumbs At Home
George Rufus Peterson, 81, died at his Payette home Monday after living in the area seven years. He was a retired farmer.
Mr. Peterson was born October 14, 1871 at Cedar Falls, Iowa. He married his wife, Emma, at Woodward, Okla., in 1903. She is one of his survivors.
Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Dell Crupper of Kansas, a son Bryce of Payette, one stepson, James Allen of Kansas, ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at the Shaffer Memory chapel in Payette with interment at Riverside cemetery with Rev. R. E. Cull officiating.
