PETERSON, WILLIAM F. Wm. F. Peterson Buried Thursday

William F. Peterson, father of Ray Peterson, of the city, passed away at the Payette General hospital last Tuesday morning following an illness which extended over a period of several weeks. Funeral services were held on Thursday, today, at two o'clock from the Landon Funeral home with Rev. A. W. Wright of the Christian church in charge. Burial was in the Riverside cemetery.

William Francis Peterson, familiarly known to a host of Payette friends as "Dad" was born at Medaryville, Indiana on January 6, 1861. He was married on April 20, 1888 to Ida May Stewart at Galesburg, Illinois. To this union four children were born and his wife and two children preceded him to the grave. He followed the vocation of a hunter and trapper in Indiana, Ohio and Wisconsin for a number of years before moving to York, Nebraska, where he engaged in farming. Eighteen years ago deceased moved to Idaho. He is survived by two sons, R. P. Peterson of Payette, and Roy Peterson of Boise.
