PAYETTE - Services for Amanda Peutz, 91, Payette, who died Saturday in a Payette nursing home, were conducted Wednesday at Shaffer-Jensen Chapel, Payette by Dr. Leonard Reifel, St. John's United Church of Christ. Interment followed in Riverside Cemetery, Payette.
She was born in 1888 in Germany, where she was reared and educated. She moved to the United States in 1920. She married Henry Peutz on Aug. 11, 1921, at Payette. She became a citizen of the United States in 1923. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and the ladies' organization in the church.
Surviving are a sister, Grete Linerma of Strasboug, France; two stepdaughters, Emma Kent of Payette and Anna Knickerbocker of San Carlos, Calif.; five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband.
