Fred L. Reimers Reported Missing
Mrs. Ella Bingham on Wednesday evening of this week received official word from the Navy department to the effect that her son Yeoman 3c Fred Lee Reimers was reported as missing in the South Pacific. No details were given. Reimers is well known in Payette, having graduated from the Payette High School with the class of 1941 and he worked at the Payette Equity for a year before attending radar school at Weiser. Following the completion of this course he went to Farragut and from there to Great Lakes and storekeeper school at Toledo, Ohio. He was assigned to his ship from shoemaker, Calif.
