Obituary
Emline King was born in Knox county, Ky., in 1847. Removing with her parents to Missouri in childhood, she resided there until 1885. She was married to Isaac Nelson and to them six children were born. In 1874 she married E. H. Richards and with him moved to Nebraska in 1885, where they resided until 1894. After a three years residence in Kansas, two years in Arkansas, five years in Nebraska, they moved to Payette six years ago, living in this vicinity until death, which occurred after a long illness on March 5.
The husband and 10 children survive. In 1895 she accepted Jesus as her Savior and united with the Baptist church at Clay Center, Kans., with which church she was still a member. She received a great deal of comfort from her faith in Christ.
The funeral, which was largely attended by Washoe friends, was conducted by the pastor at the Baptist church. Interment was in Riverside cemetery.
