Dora Rich Dies At Twin Falls

Dora V. Rich, 79, died this morning (Thursday) at 3:00 a.m. in a Twin Falls nursing home, where she was recovering from a fractured leg sustained in April, while visiting her eldest son, Rev. Richard H. N. Yost, associate minister of Methodist church here. Rev. Yost is now Pastor of the Methodist church, Burley. Mrs. Rich's death was due to a heart attack.

Mrs. Rich was married to Surl Yost, Jan. 1900,. in Weiser. Mr. Yost died in November of 1916 in Fruitland. On Dec. 23, 1931 she remarried Elmer F. (Frank) Rich. Mr. Rich died in June of 1965. Mrs. Rich lived in Fruitland until one year ago, having moved there from Ontario in 1910. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren and had been a long time resident of this area. Mrs. Rich was born in Jackson County, Ore., March 23, 1878 and was the only daughter of William and Elizabeth Myers, long time Weiser residents.

Mrs. Rich is survived by four sons; Robert F., Sharp Park, Calif, Frank M., Payette, Raymond L., Stocia, Calif., and Richard Yost, Burley. One daughter, Mrs. Maude Franklin, Fortuno, Calif.; four brothers, John F. Myers, Payette, Bert L. Myers, Chico, Calif., Wremn C. Myers, Redding, Calif., seven grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 9 nieces and 6 nephews.

Services for Mrs. Rich will be at 10:00 a.m., August 5, in the Payette Church of the Brethren with Rev. A. P. Becker officiating. Internment will be at the Riverside Cemetery under the direction of the Twin Falls Mortuary, Twin Falls.
