PAYETTE - Services for Carl B. Robinson, 78, Payette, who died Tuesday at his home, were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church by the Rev. Gale O’Neil. Interment was in the Riverside Cemetery under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel.
He was born April 25, 1896, in Hermat???, Mo. The family moved to Midvale in 1909 and to Weiser when he was 18. He served in the U. S. Navy during World War 1. Following the war he married Myrtle Robison, Jan. 18, 1919, in Weiser. They lived near Olympia, Wash. for several years before coming to Payette in 1928. He since had resided in Payette operating an upholstery business.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Surviving are his wife of Payette, a son, Virgil of Payette, a daughter, Frances Robinson of Phoenix, Ariz., a granddaughter and a grandson.
