Funeral services for George W. Rush, 61, former Payette resident, who died at his home in Worley, Idaho, were conducted last Friday at the Shaffer-Jensen Memory chapel in Payette.

The Rev. Orville Scantlin of the Fruitland Assembly of God church officiated and interment was at Riverside in Payette.

He was born June 6, 1906 at Perry, Okla. He grew up in the Oklahoma area and served in the Air Corps in World War II. For a number of years he lived in the Payette-Fruitland area, until moving to Moses Lake, Wash. He married Delphene Luce, at Rapid City, S. D., on July 3, 1962.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Delphene Rush, Worley; a stepson, Art Shield of Moses Lake; a stepdaughter, Janet Davenport of Moses Lake; a brother, Hugh Rush of Worley; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Edith Swafford, Payette, as well as an infant son and a sister.
