Services for Charles Warren Russell, 84, Payette, who died last Tuesday at a Payette nursing home, were conducted at 2 p.m. last Friday at the Shaffer-Jensen Memory chapel in Payette by the Rev. James W. Dotson, pastor of the First Baptist church of Nyssa. Interment followed at Riverside.

He was born August 26, 1884, at Monmouth, Kan. He grew up in Kansas and married Winnifred B. Bringle at McCune, Kan., on October 2, 1907. They lived at McCume until 1913 and then moved to the Twin Falls area where he farmed until 1951. That year they moved to Payette where they had since resided. His wife died in March of 1969.

He was a member of the First Baptist church of Nyssa.

Survivors include two sons, Warren E. Russell, Fruitland, and C. Alfred Russell, New Plymouth; a daughter, Mrs. Leota Hull, Jerome; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by a son and four brothers.
