AGED MAN DIES SUDDENLY
Mr. Schleintz, 85 years of age, a resident of second avenue south, died very suddenly at his home Wednesday morning, the cause of his death being apoplexy. No further particulars are known at this time, and an obituary will be published in next weeks issue.

OBITUARY
John Leonard Schlientz was born at Wittenberg, Germany September 30th, 1840, and died at his home in Payette, September 1st, 1926, having reached the age of 85 years, 11 months and 3 days.
Mr. Schlientz came with his family to this country in the year 1887, making his home at Grand Rapids, Michigan, living at that place for five years then moving to the state of Nebraska, where he made his home until a year ago when he came to Payette, where he had resided until the time of death.
He leaves to mourn his death a wife and fifteen children, two of whom, a son and daughter still reside in Germany. William, Fred and Ernest, of Grand Rapids, Michigan; Charles, Herman and John of Los Angeles, California; Albert and Otto of North Platt, Nebraska; Mrs. Frank Oliver of Alamogordo, New Mexico; Samuel of Ogden, Utah; Harry of Montpelier, Idaho; Everett and Caroline of Payette.
Funeral services were held from the Baptist Church Sunday afternoon conducted by the pastor Rev. Dean. Interment being made in Riverside cemetery.
