SUNDAY SERVICE HELD FOR GOTTLIEB SCHOCK

Funeral services were held from St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran church Sunday afternoon for Gottlieb Schock who died July 12. Aindens funeral home was in charge of the arrangements and the Rev. Albert Beutenmueller officiated. Burial was in Riverside cemetery. He was survived by six daughters and one son: Mrs. Elizabeth Rogers, Spokane; Mrs. Lyda Smith and Mrs. Alma Douglass of Arlington, Oregon; Mrs. Martha Wristen, Antioch, Calif.; Henry Schock and Mrs. Esther Oster of Payette and Mrs. Marion Whitney.

Mr. Schock was born in Odessa, Russia, on Nov, 19, 1864 and was married in Odessa to Miss Katherine Kline Feb.16, 1888. They moved to Allentown, Pa., soon after their marriage and remained until 1920 when they came to Payette. Mrs. Schock died Jan. 13, 1936.
