Mrs. Ackie Scott Passes at Age 77
Mrs. Ackie L. Scott, 77, died Tuesday in an Ontario hospital following a brief illness. She was born at Redding, Calif., on March 9, 1886. She married Fred F. Scott on March 23, 1924 at Burns, Ore., and after living at Willow Creek, Ore., the couple moved to Payette in1927. Her husband preceded her in death, Dec. 18, 1958.
She is survived by two sons, William E. Scott and Oscar N. Scott, both of Payette; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Caufiled of Kelso, Wn., and Mrs. Claire Brown of Portland; 12 grandchildren adn 18 great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted Friday at 10 a.m. at the Shaffer Memory Chapel in Payette. The Rev. George A. Trobough will officiate. Interment will be at Riverside in Payette.
