Lillian Seawell Lifetime Payette Resident, Dies
Final rites for Mrs. Lillian May Seawell, 84, of Payette, were conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. in St. James Episcopal Church. The Rev. Palmer Wylde officiated. Interment was at Riverside under the direction of Shaffer Memory Chapel. Mrs. Seawell died Sunday morning after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Seawell, a lifetime resident of Payette, was born here Nov. 2, 1880, and was the daughter of a pioneer, August Jacobsen. She was married in 1906 at Payette to Lester C. Seawell, a pioneer. He preceded her in death in 1936.
Mrs. Seawell was a member of St. James Episcopal Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Leslie Bergman, Payette, and one granddaughter, Miss Christina Bergman, also of Payette.
