PAYETTE - Graveside services for Edgar Church Shellworth, 87, former resident of Payette, who died Monday at Tillamook, Ore., will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Riverside in Payette by Rev. Wesley G. Jones, pastor of Bethany United Presbyterian Church in Ontario, under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette.
He was born April 20, 1883 at Commanche County, Texas. He married Altha O. Nims at Twin Falls on March 15, 1909. They moved to Payette in 1916 where he worked as a plumber. They moved to Tillamook in 1930 where he had since lived. His wife preceded him in death in 1959.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Maxine Davlin, Port Angeles, Wash.; two brothers, Harry Shellworth, Boise and Albert Shellworth, Palo Alto, Calif.; and a granddaughter. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by a son.
