Vincent Shurtleff Dies Wednesday
Vincent G. Shurtleff, 58, a life long resident of this city, died at the family home Wednesday night following a long illness.
Funeral services will be held at the Landon-Shaffer Funeral Home friday afternoon at 3 o'clock with the Rev. Paul Felthouse of the Baptist Church in charge. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Vincent George Shurtleff was born on a farm North of Payette October 20, 1889. He was married on February 4, 1913 and entered business in this city in 1919 which he operated up until about a year ago.
He is survived by one son, George; a daughter, Mrs. Marguarite Brogan; and four grandchildren all of Payette; two brothers, Raymond H. of Payette and Lionel of Baker, Ore.; a sister, Mrs. August Young of Boise. One brother, Earl, preceded him in death in 1933.
