The funeral of Andrew Smith, a well known and respected citizen of Washoe, who died in a Portland hospital, was held last Friday from the M. E. Church, conducted by Rev. M. D. Reed. The deceased was a native of Holland having been born in that country in 1858. He came to America when a young man and was married in the State of Michigan, and moved to Idaho many years ago. He is survived by a wife, four sons, five daughters and an aged mother, who reached her 96th year the day her son was brought here for burial.
