Archie William Smith, 80, Payette, died in an Ontario hospital early Sunday morning after a brief illness.
He was born November 25, 1885, in Michigan. He married Daisy Ruby Dick, June 24, 1943, at Prineville, Ore., and they moved to Weiser in 1948. They moved to Payette in 1954. He was a member of the Southern Baptist church.
Surviving him besides his wife are two stepsons, Jack Harold Melton Jr., Salt Lake City, and Bill Goble, Portland.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Shaffer chapel, Payette, with the Rev. A.D. Reed officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside cemetery at Payette.
