Final Rites Pending For Agnes L. Smock
Services were held Wednesday at Seattle, Washington for Mrs. Agnes Lias Smock, 73, of Seattle, who died there Sunday following a long illness.
Mrs. Smock was born at Bellevue, Iowa, April 2, 1888, coming from Trinidad, Colo., to Payette. She taught in the Payette schools and was home economist here for a number of years. She was married here to Peter M. Smock Feb. 4, 1917. He died in 1946. Mrs. Smock was a member of the Congregational church and Order of Eastern Star.
Services include two sons, Robert of Seattle, and William Smock of Payette; one daughter, Mrs. Fransue Sudduth, Vashon, Wash., and 10 grandchildren.
Following the Wednesday services in Seattle final services in Payette are being directed by the Shaffer chapel.
