James Solmon Services Friday
PAYETTE - Services will be conducted Friday at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Nazarene in Payette for James Victor Solmon, 81. The Rev. Don Castle will officiate. Interment will be in Riverside under the direction of Shaffer Memory Chapel.
Mr. Solmon died Tuesday, August 7, 1962, at his home.
He was born October 13, 1880 at Ossian, Iowa and married Amanda L. Fuhlbrugge at Liberty Pole, Wisc., March 23, 1904. The couple came to Payette from Tillamook, Ore., in 1930.
He was a member of the Nazarene church.
Surviving are his wife, of Payette; four sons, Kenneth Solmon and Ray Solmon, both of Payette, Richard Solomon of Burley and Marvin Solmon of Burns, Ore.; two daughters, Margaret Stowell of Ontario and Mrs. Mabel Chatterton of Pocatello; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and one sister.
