Luther Solmon Interred Today

PAYETTE - Funeral services for Luther Solmon, 72, former Payette resident, who died last Thursday in North Bend, Ore., were conduicted at 10 a.m. today (Monday), at the Shaffer Memory Chapel in Payette with the Rev. John Vaughn officiating. Interment was in Riverside cemetery.

Mr. Solmon was born at Reedstown, Wis., Nov. 13, 1877, and came to Payette in 1929, where he resided until 1947. Three years ago he moved to Coos Bay, Ore., where he has since made his home.

He is survived by three sons, Lloyd, Alvin and Albert E. Solman, all of Coos Bay; four daughters, Mrs. W. H. Hopkins, Nampa; Mrs. J. T. Wayne, North Bend, Ore., Mrs. Robert Collingwood, Payette; and Mrs. Lee Turner of Grand Ronde, Ore.; one brother, James Solman of Payette; one sister, Mrs. Rose Wood, Tracy, Minn.; 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
