Leonard Everett Sonner

Services for Leonard Everett Sonner, 69, Oregon Slope, who died Monday at his home of natural causes, were conducted at 2 p. m. Saturday at Shaffer Memory Chapel in Payette by the Rev. Richard Klein of the Weiser Presbyterian church. Interment, with graveside rites by the Payette Odd Fellows Lodge, were at Riverside Cemetery.

Born Dec. 2, 1897, at Shenandoah, Iowa, he came to Star in 1900 with his parents. He lived there until 1907, when the family moved to Twin Falls. In 1910, the family moved from Twin Falls to Blaine County. In 1926, he came to Oregon Slope, where he had lived since and operated a farm. Mr. Sonner was a member of the Payette Odd Fellows Lodge and the Oregon Slope Grange.

Surviving are two brothers, Munith B. Sonner of Oregon Slope and Rex. R. Sonner of Twin Falls; a sister, Mrs. Lalla P. Johnson of Seattle, and a niece, Mrs. Rita Fremouw of Palo Alto, Calif.
