Well Known Oregon Slope Matron Dies Last Friday

The community was saddened by the death of Mrs. A. H. Sonner who passed away at her home Friday morning from a heart attack. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from the Methodist church and burial was in Riverside cemetery. During the thirteen years she had been a resident here, Mrs. Sonner had taken an active part in community affairs. She had served as president of the Park Community Improvement Club and she promoted the community flower shows. The many floral expressions at the funeral were a fitting tribute to Mrs. Sonner who loved flowers and encouraged the grade school children in this community to raise flowers. She will be greatly missed by her many friends.
