Graveside services for Laddie Dale Sparkman, 62, Payette, who died Saturday, Aug. 3, 1985, at his home, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9, at Riverside Cemetery, Payette, with Rev. Allen Hull of the Payette First Baptist Church officiating, under direction of Shaffer-Jensen chapel, Payette.

Mr. Sparkman, a plywood mill worker, was born Aug. 6, 1922, at Baca County, Colo., son of Robert and Mary James Sparkman. He was reared and educated in Colorado. He served in the Navy during World War II and moved to Payette in 1946. He farmed for a period of time and also worked in construction and worked many years in the Plywood Mill at Emmett, Idaho for Boise Cascade.

Survivors include three brothers, James Robert Sparkman of Tigard, Ore., Donald Joseph Sparkman of Springfield, Colo., and Lee Holmes Sparkman of Milton-Freewater, Ore.; a sister, Geneva Trummell of Fruitland; and several nieces and nephews. His parents and a nephew died earlier.

Friends may call Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m. at Shaffer-Jensen Chapel, Payette.

Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
