Funeral services were conducted Saturday at the Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel in Payette for William Harry Stark, 80, Payette, who died August 11 at Holy Rosary Hospital in Ontario.
The Rev. Jack Anderson of the First Baptist Church officiated and interment with Masonic rites was at Riverside Cemetery.
He was born July 21, 1890, at Lake View, Wash. He came to Caldwell and later to Payette in 1903. He married Rachel Tillotson on August 12, 1912, at Bellingham, Wash. They made their home and operated Harry’s Café in Payette for over 40 years. He had been retired the past few years.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Payette and Washoe Lodge No. 28, AF and AM.
Survivors beside his wife of Payette include a son, Robert Dale Start of El Paso, Tex.; a sister, Mrs. Rita Woodruff of Ontario; two grandsons and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by six sisters.
