O. J. Sumerville Called By Death
Orville J. Summerville, a long time resident of the Payette Valley died at his home here on Tuesday.
He was born at Jackson, Mich., on August 5, 1873 and came west and located at New Plymouth in 1892. He was married to Miss Katie R. Clark of Star, at Caldwell March 12, 1912. They made their home at New Plymouth until March 19, 1931, when they came to Payette where they have resided since. He is survived by his wife, Katie, and one daughter Bertha Louise, of this city, one son, Clark, died in infancy and another son, Orvil J. Jr., died in Nov. 1937. One half brother, Sylvester Reylea, of Oakland, Calif., and two sisters, Veda Dobson, of Oakland, Calif. and Mrs. Anna Hoffman, of Vallejo, Cal. Services were held at the Land-Funeral Home Thursday, Sept. 13 at 2:00 p. m. with the Rev. Harold Jukes of Boise officiating. Burial was at Riverside cemetery.
