Miss Jeane Syme was born Nov. 22, 1905 at her home south of Fruitland. She was the oldest child of the Creighton Syme family and has lived in Fruitland the greater part of her life. She was a member of the Junior Class of the Fruitland High School, and a favorite among all her classmates. She passed away at her home Thursday evening. Death caused by inflamatory rheumatism. She leaves to mourn her loss, her mother, two brothers, Charles and Ralph Mitchell, and two step-sisters, Miss Adelaide Mitchell and Mrs. George Profitt of Edmonds, Wash. Miss Mitchell was present at the funeral services which were held at the Methodist Church Sunday and interment was made in Riverside cemetery.
