Lifetime Resident Mrs. C. G. Tussing Dies at Age 72

Cordelia Sinclair Tussing, 72, a lifetime resident of Payette county died Thursday at he home in Fruitland. She was born May 29, 1890, on a homestead ranch north of here to pioneer area residents, John C. and Ella McKern Giesler. She was married Nov. 27, 1911 to Cary I. Tussing of Fruitland.

Mrs. Tussing was an active member of the Fruitland Methodist Church and the Royal Neighbors of America. For many years she was a news correspondent for the Payette Valley Sentinel in New Plymouth and the Argus-Observer in Ontario.

She is survived by her husband of Fruitland; a son, Franklin A. Tussing of Boise; a daughter, Mrs. E. Dean (Helen) Peterson of ????; four sisters in California, Mrs. Arthur Orcutt of Mt. Shasta, Mrs. Frank Stowell of Paradise, Mrs. George Eiser of Los Angeles and Mrs. Margaret Foster of Anaheim; another sister, Mrs. Cecil Brown of Filer and a sister-in-law of Mrs. Mildred Giesler of Boise; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services were held in Payette last Saturday at the Shaffer Memory Chapel and interment followed at Riverside. Friends were requested to make contributions to the memorial fund of the Fruitland Methodist Church or send flowers.
