Death Calls Mrs. Vanderford
Mrs. Laura E. Vanderford, who has resided in this city nearly forty years, passed on here Wednesday of last week.
Laura Elizabeth Vanderford was born at Buffalo, Mo., Dec. 15, 1873 and passed away on Oct. 25, 1944. She married at Buffalo, Mo., to J. W. Vanderford. They made their home in Buffalo for a few years, then came to Fairfield, Okla., and after came west in 1905 to Payette.
She leaves her husband, J. W. Vanderford, five sons, Yates, Roy and Asa Vanderfield of Payette, Howard and Herbert Vanderford of Ellensburg, Wash., and one daughter, Mrs. Bessie Mitchell of Payette. Services were held Saturday at the Christian church with Rev. A. W. White officiating. Burial was in the Riverside cemetery with Landons in charge.
