WILLIAM WEIGAND (Weygandt) DIES AT HIS HOME ON 11TH STREET
William Weigand, well known to the people of this community for many years, died at his home on seventh avenue north Friday evening October 20th, the cause of his death being lobar pneumonia, of only a short duration. The funeral was held from the Landon Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon conducted by the Rev. E. J. Glover, pastor of the Church of the Brethren, and interment in Riverside Cemetery.
Mr. Weigand was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, at Baker, Oregon and prior to coming to Payette was engaged in the mercantile business in Oregon. He is survived by one sister Mrs. Elizabeth Smith, who resides at White Hall, Michigan and a brother-in-law, William Jenkins of Cambridge, Idaho.
