Minta Marie Wells, 96, of Payette, was surrounded by family as she peacefully went to the Lord on Thursday, August 23, 2007. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, August 31, 2007 at River of Life Christian Center, Payette with Pastor Joel Wendland officiating. Committal services will be held at 4:30 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery, Payette.

She was born Minta Wayne in Payette on August 28, 1910 and lived in Payette for most of her life.
Minta survived her husband, John Wells, a businessman in Payette for many years; they married in 1928. She was a loving mother and grandmother to her son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Evelyn Wells, four grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
Minta was vital and active until the end. She was an active member of the Assembly of God Church in Payette for more than 50 years.
She lived on her own and drove until she was 95. Minta was always ready to go see relatives or go shopping.
Her family looks forward to being with her again.
