Rhena M. West Rites Tuesday
PAYETTE - Services for Mrs. Rhena M. West, 63, a long-time resident of Payette, who died Thursday at Devils Lake, N.D. will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the St. James Episcopal Church in Payette with the Rev. Palmer Wylde officiating. Interment will be at Riverside under the direction of the Shaffer Memory chapel.
She was born in North Dakota, August 8, 1900 and moved to Payette in 1925. She was married to Bryan West at Walla Walla in 1936. He died in 1959. Mrs. West had been a school teacher in Payette for 32 years. She was a member of the St. James Episcopal church, the Order of Eastern Star, The PEO and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include three brothers, Les Kelly of Minot, N.D., Milton Kelly of Devils Lake and William Kelly of Chicago; two sisters, Mrs. Winifred Swenson, Devils Lake and Mrs. Inex Pohlod of Great Falls.
