Pioneer Matron Passes Away Here

Mrs. Anna E. Wickham, 88, passed away at her home in Payette February 21. She was born in Muskington county, Ohio, February 27, 1863 and came to Idaho from Kansas City, Kansas, in 1902

Mrs. Wickham was a member of the Christian Science Church and the Royal Neighbors lodge.

Surviving are two daughters; Mrs. Edna Eddy and Mrs. Allie Mae Catron, both of Payette; brother, Harvey Steers of Creston, Iowa; two grandsons, Frank A. Briggs of Santa Ana, Cal., and Dr. Sol Catron, Payette; two great-grandsons, Richards Briggs of Santa Ana, Cal., and Gary Catron, Payette.

Her husband, Charles M. Wickham, died in Portland in 1944. Two children, a son and daughter, died in infancy.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 2:00 p. m. at the Shaffer Memory chapel with Mrs. Forney Stamey as reader. Interment was at Riverside cemetery.
