Mary Elizabeth Wilson was born April 9, 1844 in Illinois where she lived until she was 12 years old when she moved with her parents to Vernon county, Missouri. she was married to Zachariah Wilson at the age of 17. Six children were born to the union, four of which are living, one son and daughter in Missouri, a daughter, Mrs. G. Walker of Bend, Oregon, and one son J. E. Wilson of this place, the two latter being present at the time of her death. Her husband passed away when they had been married 20 years. She moved with her son J. E. to the Boise valley 19 years ago and to the Payette valley 17 years ago. She passed away Friday morning July 11, after a days' illness, being 80 years, three months, and two days old. funeral services were hely from the Christian church in Payette Monday afternoon at 2:30, conducted by Rev. G. L. Knight of New Plymouth, and interment made in Riverside cemetery in Payette.
