Final Rites for Mrs. Cockerum Held Tuesday

Requiem mass was celebrated Tuesday morning at the Holy Family Catholic church here for Mrs. Irenee Vera Cockerum, 45, of Payette, who died Saturday in an Ontario hospital following a lengthy illness. The Rev. Fr. E. L. DeBusschere was celebrant and vault interment was at Rosedale Memorial Gardens. Recitation of the rosary was Monday night at the Chapel of the Roses.

Born June 30, 1922, in Garaldton, Western Australia, she came to Payette 20 years ago from Perth, Western Australia. She was married to Forrest Cockerum in Emmett on December 11, 1947. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic church and a member of the Ontario Emblem club No 192.

She is survived by her husband, Forrest Cockerum, of Payette; two sons, Michael Robinson of Seal Beach, Calif. and Forrest (Skip) Cockerum of Reno, Nev.; two daughters, Jan Marria Cockerum and Patrice Cockerum, both at home; her mother, Mrs. Florence Walker of Issaquah, Wash.; her father, Patrick Walker, Western Australia; two sisters, Mrs. Ronald (Jacqueline) Wickenkamp, Long Beach, Calif. and Mrs. Doyle (Roma) Whipple, of Lake Wood, Calif. and a brother, Roy Walker of Western Australia.
