Alton Arbor Drinkwine, 46, of Long Beach, Calif., former Payette resident, died Tuesday in Long Beach.
He was born August 31, 1922, in Payette, where he lived for 25 years. He married Lanne Tyner on June 9, 1962, in Long Beach. He was a World War II veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lanne Drinkwine, of Long Beach; three sons, William Drinkwine, Long Beach, Douglas Drinkwine, in the U. S. Army, and John Tyner of Long Beach; four daughters, Mrs. Jessie (Florence) Serrato, Torrence, Calif, Sandra Drinkwine, Jessica Drinkwine and Mrs. Cassie Jonkowitch, all of Long Beach; two brothers, Carl Drinkwine, Stockton, Calif., and Larry Drinkwine, Long Beach; and five grandchildren. His mother, Mrs. Rose Drinkwine, preceded him in death in October.
Graveside services were conducted at 10 a. m., Saturday at Rosedale Gardens in Payette by Bishop Robert L. Kane of the Payette Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Services were under the direction of Payette Chapel of the Roses.
