Fay Garner, 81, Ontario, died Sept. 15. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Haren-Wood Funeral Chapel, Ontario. Vault interment will follow at Rosedale memorial Gardens, Payette, under the direction of Haren-Wood Funeral Chapel, Ontario.

She was born Dec. 8, 1918 in North Powder, Ore., the daughter of Bill and Emma Mason Pearson. As a young child she moved to Payette with her family where she was reared and attended school.

She married James Ellison Garner Aug. 22, 1913, in Payette. They made their home in Ontario. She worked 21 years for the Ontario School District. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church and the Rebekah Lodge. She enjoyed hunting and fishing, sewing, crocheting and her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Ellison, of Ontario, two sons, Eugene of Springfield and Max of Haines; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Walter, Joe and Dave; a sister Mary Conger, her mother, Emma Pearson and her father William Pearson.

Friends may visit at Haren-Wood Chapel Monday from 10 a.m. to noon.
