Last Rites Held For Mrs. E. Hoeme Wed.
Last rites were held Wednesday for Mrs. Esther Marie Hoeme, 61, of Payette who died early Sunday at the home of her daughter in Ontario.
She was born June 10, 1897, at Ellinwood, Kan., and moved to the Payette area 32 years ago from Kansas. She was married Feb. 17, 1918 at San Antonio, Texas to A. A. Hoeme.
She was a member of the Pilgrim Lutheran church of Ontario.
Surviving are her husband of Payette; two daughters, Mrs. E. F. Stewart of Payette and Mrs. James Heldt of Ontario; one brother, August Schwertfeger of Preston, Kan.; one sister, Mrs. Otto Hoeme of Pratt, Kan., her stepmother, Mrs. Alvina George of Lodi, Calif., and four grandchildren.
Services were held at the Pilgrim Lutheran church in Ontario with the Rev. Theo Brackman officiating. Interment was at Rosedale in Payette.
