Services for Leo Leroy Jacobs, 76, Ontario, who died at home Tuesday, Oct. 5, 1982, were conducted Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Ontario. Bishop Leroy Cammack of the LDS church will officiate. Interment will be at Rosedale Memorial Gardens in Payette under direction of the Chapel of the Roses, Ontario.

He was born November 3, 1905 at Lehi, Utah to Leo Jacobs and Florence Gilchrist Jacobs. He attended Ricks College and the University of Idaho. He married Eva Jane Brown August 15, 1936 in Spokane. He retired from the Dairy Equipment business. He was a member of the LDS church. He was a high priest and had been stake missionary president and ward clerk. He was an avid gardener, loved fishing and did beautiful needlepoint work as a hobby.

He is survived by his wife Jane at home, three sons, Major Leo Jacobs of Germany, Douglas Jacobs of Vancouver, Wash.; Bill Jacobs of Payette; one daughter, Mrs. Don (Patricia) McCrary of Boise; two brothers, Ben Jacobs of Ketchum, Idaho; Merlin Jacobs of Arizona; three sisters, Mrs. Ad (LaPreal) Davenport of Caldwell; Blanche Jacobs and Mrs. Andy (Lily) Fitzsimons both of Citrus Heights, Calif.; 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
