Albert J. Kidder Succumbs Sunday
Albert J. Kidder, 91, a resident of this city since 1933 died in this city Sunday following a long illness.
Funeral services will be held at the Beechler Chapel in Ontario Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock with the Rev. Paul Felthouse of the Payette Baptist church in charge. Interment will be in Rosedale Memorial park here.
Mr. Kidder was born in Dodge county, Minn., Mar. 3, 1859. As a young man he went to South Dakota and was a pioneer farmer in that state. He was married in Minnesota Mar. 20, 1884 and he and Mrs. Kidder celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary last year.
From 1910 to 1933 the family lived at Gentry, Ark.
Besides the widow he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mabel L. Smith, Gaston, Ore. and Mrs. Grace Folger of Gentry, Ark.; one son Oren A. Kidder of this city. There are also 18 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
During his active years Mr. Kidder was a member of the Elks lodge and the Modern Woodman of America.
