PAYETTE – Katheryn Dorothy Ninemire, 56, Payette, died Sunday evening at a Boise hospital of natural causes. She was born Dec. 1, 1915 at Asotin, Wash. She had lived in the Payette community for 36 years after coming here from Hill City, Kan. She married Charles Ninemire, Oct. 20, 1947 in Winnemucca.
She was a member of the Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband Charles; two sons, Loren Grout of Boise and Elwin Grout of Eugene, Ore.; and a daughter, Mrs. Jerry (Charlene) Coelrick, Boise; two brothers, Paul Ausman, Idaho City, and Ralph Ausman, Eagle; a sister, Mrs. Madeline Mattix of Mesa, Ariz.; and nine grandchildren.
Rosary was recited Tuesday at the Payette Chapel of the Roses and Requiem Mass was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Payette by Father Patrick Phelan. Vault interment will be at Rosedale Memorial Gardens under the direction of the Payette Chapel of the Roses.
