Graveside services for Delbert Lindley Prest, 77, who died Tuesday at his home in Payette were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Rosedale Memorial Gardens with Bishop Robert L. Kane conducting the services under the direction of the Payette Chapel of the Roses.
Mr. Prest was born June 27, 1892, in Dayton, Wash. He had lived in this community for 10 years, coming here from Council. He married Stella Andrews, Feb. 21, 1916, in Weiser. He was a member of the First Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Stella Prest, Payette; a son, Delmer Prest, Ontario; three daughters, Mrs. Jack (Wilma) Blair, Riddle, Ore., Mrs. James (Lois) Brooks, Bates, Ore. and Mrs. William (Esther) Nixon, Algona, Wash.; a sister, Ruby Andrew, Spokane, 16 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
