Funeral Rites For Mrs. Alta M. Scott

Funeral rites for Alta M. Scott, 71, of Cambridge, who died last Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. M. W. Lockey, in this city, were held from the Landon's funeral Home last Saturday afternoon with the Rev. John T. Hall of the Cambridge Baptist church officiating. Landon's was in charge of interment at the Rosedale Memorial Park.

Mrs. Scott was born at Keithburg, Ill, Aug. 7, 1874 and grew to womanhood in that state. She was married to Herman A. Scott in Aleda, Ill. and they came West in 1900 finally locating in Cambridge in 1932.

Besides her husband she is survived by two sons; Don C.. Scott of Payette and Victor B. Scott, a staff sergeant in the U. S. regular army who is stationed at Seattle, Wn; three daughters, Mrs. Josephine Lockey, Payette; Mrs. Georgena K. Claterbos, Vancouver, Wn; and Mrs. Elfa G. Kooyman, Deer Island, Ore, six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Mrs. Scott was visiting at the home of her daughter there when she was taken ill.
