Services for Mrs. Telitha Leola Jones, 74, and her son, David Lafayette Jones, 48, both of Fruitland, who were killed in a two-car accident west of New Plymouth on Highway 30 Saturday, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Assembly of God church, Payette. The Rev. Orville Scentlin will officiate. Interment will follow at Park View cemetery at New Plymouth under the direction of the Payette Shaffer chapel.

Mrs. Jones was born September 13, 1891, in Ozark county, Mo., and she and her son moved with their family from Oklahoma to New Mexico in 1931. They came to the Fruitland area in 1933. She was a member of the Assembly of God church.

Surviving her are her husband, James Wesley Jones, Fruitland; a son, Johnnie James Jones, Tulsa, Okla.; six daughters, Mrs. Forrest D. Moore, Enid, Okla., Mrs. Ed Tannlund, Fruitland, Mrs. C. L. Slaughter, Tulsa, Okla., Mrs. Shirley Strohmeyer, Caldwell, Mrs. D.J. Grumbois, Longview, Wash., and Mrs. Joe Sullivan, Greenleaf; a brother, M.D. Hurd, Broken Arrow, Okla.; three sisters, Mrs. Rosa Sumner, Santa Cruz, Calif., Mrs. Flo Friend, Stillwater, Okla., and Mrs. H. H. Lehman, Fruitland; 20 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

David Lafayette Jones was born December 30, 1917 at Jenks, Okla.

Surviving are his father, James Wesley Jones; a brother, Johnnie James Jones; six sisters, Mrs. Forrest D. Moore, Mrs. Ed Tannlund, Mrs. C. L. Slaughter, Mrs. Shirley Strohmeyer, Mrs. D. T. Grumbois and Mrs. Joe Sullivan.
