Murder Victim Buried Here

Services Held For Glenda Brisbois, Slain Last Week

Funeral services for Glenda Brisbois were held in the Payette Baptist church at three p.m. Monday. Rev. Paul Felthouse officiated.

Glenda was the victim of a thrill slaying last week at Burley. Neil Butterfield, 16-year-old Heyburn high school athlete has confessed to the brutal slaying and is now being held in Twin Falls county jail. The little girl’s body was found in a canal last Thursday. She was last seen on Wednesday of last week when she entered an automobile driven by a man. Butterfield was apprehended near Hammet, Idaho as a fled west in a stripped down "hot rod."

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bribois are former residents of Payette. During their residence in this city Mr. Brisbois was employed for a short time by Colpins Photo Shop and later he engaged in the photography business for a short period. Deceased was a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. C. Bishop, of the Oregon Slope section.
