Don Dibble Rites Held Tuesday
Services for Don Robert Dibble, 28, of Payette, who died Friday in Ontario, were conducted at St. James' Episcopal church Tuesday at 2 p.m. The Rev. John Riley officiated.
Mr. Dibble was born in Payette Nov. 28, 1927 and was married to Berdene Dietrich June 26, 1949, in Payette. He was a member of the St. James Episcopal church, the Elks lodge, and the junior chamber of commerce.
He was a graduate of Payette high school and the University of Oregon and was a baseball letterman at these schools. He later played with the Payette Packers and served as manager though two successful seasons.
Survivors include one son, James Dibble and his mother, Mrs. Nellie Dibble, both of Payette. He was the son of Earl Dibble, Idaho public official, who died recently.
Interment was at Riverside under direction of Shafer Memory chapel.
