John Diedrichsen Dies Saturday
John Diederichsen, 74, a resident of Payette for over 30 years dies at the Ontario hospital Saturday following a long illness.
Funeral rites were held Tuesday afternoon here at the St. John's Evangelical Reformed church with the Rev. A.F. Lienkaemper in charge. Interment was in the Riverside cemetery under the direction of Landon's Funeral home.
Mr. Diederichsen was born in Germany, Aug. 15, 1870 and was married to Miss Caroline Hansen at Schwesigholstein, Germany in Oct. 1899. The family came to Payette in 1911. Mrs. Diederichsen died in 1936.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ernest Asmussen and a granddaughter, Miss Carolea Asmussen.
