Roy Jack Longstreet Succumbs Sunday
Tuesday services were conducted at the Assembly of God church in Payette for Roy Jack Longstreet, 52, who died Sunday morning in an Ontario hospital.
The Rev. R. E. Cull officiated at 4 p.m. rites, and interment was at Riverside.
His father David Longstreet, and his sister, Hazel preceded him in death.
Mr. Longstreet was born July 23, 1902, in Freedom, Ind. He moved to Cascade from Colorado in 1950 and came to Payette in 1952. He was married July 7, 1951, at Vale, Ore., to Mrs. Lenora Clause. He was a carpenter by occupation.
In addition to Mrs. Longstreet, he is survived by a son Donald Longstreet of Farmingaton, N.M.; a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Clapp of Farmington; a stepdaughter, Miss Betty Clouse of Payette; his mother, Mrs. Owen Lamb of Payette; a brother, Sherman Longstreet of Nampa and four sisters, Mrs. Helen Romine and Mrs. Rose Probst, both of Payette, Mrs. Emma Smith of Waterfall, N.M., and Mrs. Mary Jordan of Flagstaff, Ariz.
